At Black River United Way, we are driven by a shared vision: leading Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties to sustainability by empowering the lives of its community members.  Every day, we strive to create meaningful and lasting change by ensuring children are ready for kindergarten, building reading stamina and proficiency through third grade reading success and ensuring our communities are resilient through disaster preparedness.

This work would not be possible without the passion and dedication of our team, volunteers, supporters, and partners—people like you who believe in the power of collective action – WORKING . Whether you are visiting us to explore opportunities to get involved, make a donation, or simply learn more about our impact, know that your interest and support mean the world to us.  We INVITE you to be on OUR BUS as we continue to make positive change.

Through this website, we hope to provide you with a window into the heart of our mission. You’ll find stories of hope and resilience, updates on our programs, and ways to join us in building a brighter future.
